Near the end of Game 14 in 1972, Dave made it to 1001 yards. I was watching the game and saw him tackled for a 6 yard loss on the next play, ending at 995 for the year. In 1973 Dave gets 996 yards. They all just missed the cut, but Olandis Gary is one that I did miss. His 1,159 yards in 1999 was 56% of his career total of 1,998, which would have placed him 4th on the list.
