Oscar De La Hoya/Steve Forbes Round 12

Forbes' corner tells him to let his hands go and he does that at the start of the round. No real damage though and Oscar now backing Forbes up with his jab. DLH's jab pushes Forbes back in the corner. Combination by Forbes lands, but it only gets a response by Oscar so Forbes ends up getting the worst of it. Oscar now on the offensive, backing Forbes up with his jab. Left hook rocks Forbes. Combination by DLH, Forbes covers up and backs away. Forbes eats about the millionth jab of the fight. Fans booing, presumably due to no knockout but they've seen a masterful performance by Oscar with a half minute left. Oscar lands a couple of good punches against the ropes but Forbes ties up. Oscar gets the best of a barrage to end the round as the fight ends. 10-9 DLH, Oscar wins the fight on my card going away, 119-109 , 11 rounds to one Oscar De La Hoya...we'll be back with the official decision
