Michael Buffer has the decision--Max Deluca and Marty Samon 119-109 Marcus Rosales 120-108. OSCAR DE LA HOYA WINS BY UNANIMOUS DECISION. No knockout but Oscar dominated throughout, dictating the tempo, backing Forbes up, throwing more punches and more damaging punches. Couldn't have been a more one sided fight...
Larry Merchant talking to Oscar now, DLH gives shout outs to East L.A. Gives props to Stevie Forbes for being a tough guy. He's a little disappointed by no KO, but otherwise happy. Oscar says that he's going to fight Mayweather in this style in the rematch, which might make for a more entertaining fight but probably won't change the outcome. Oscar says he's going to fight Mayweather again in September and then a "retirement match" in December.
