Recently, FHM unveiled their Hottest 100 Women for 2008 and put Megan Fox at the top. Megan made it to our Final Four, so I have no complaint there. Especially after their and other entities' previous title holders included Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce, Jessica Alba, Heather Mills and Britney Spears, none of which even made a dent in our contest (the very reason for our contest, by the way).
This week Maxim came out with their Hottest 100 Women for 2008 and Marisa Miller wears the crown. Way to go Maxim readers or whoever decided that! She is in our final pairing and at last check had a minuscule lead over Kate Beckinsale.
Now does that mean that we no longer have a need for our contest? Slow down, there, skippy. As long as things like THIS make anyone's Hottest 100 Women list, there will always be a need for our contest.

Miller is fine, but the rest of their top 10 and complete list is mostly pathetic. Gellar, longoria, tisdale in top 10? Ambrosia isn't even on the list?!!? Impossible!! Just a laughably bad list all around.
Plus, don't think Beckinsale made their list at all either.
Ah yes, there is still much work to be done, grasshopper.
