GEORGES ST. PIERRE VS. MATT SERRA ROUND 2

Nice job so far by KFlo staying neutral even though he's boys with Serra. GSP with a punch followed by a single leg takedown. GSP has him against the cage with some mauling and punching--nothing serious yet but they're taking a toll. GSP goes for another takedown blocked by Serra. Back to standup now. Spinning back kick attempt for GSP misses. GSP using his superior reach and jabbing like a maniac. GSP with another takedown after Serra ate a half dozen or so hard jabs. Back against the cage with Serra covering up in a ball and GSP throwing punches at the back of his head. GSP passes guard and continues to throw some hard punches from the top. Serra turning over covering up looking at the clock. GSP back in top mount, now Serra rolls over again and gets pounded on the back of his head again. Serra doesn't look to be hurt but he's not doing anything either other than eating punches. Serra turns over and eats punches. More knees and punches before ref Yves Lavigne stops the contest...Dominant performance by GSP, with Serra never showing any offense at all.

WINNER BY TKO AND NEW UFC WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION GEORGES ST. PIERRE

Serra showing some class by picking GSP up after the fight. As much as I get the prefight verbal back and forth for promotional purposes, its nice to see the respect displayed after the bout. GSP simply in unbeatable form at the moment. Serra looks like he caught a beating and mugs for the camera. GSP is stoked as he gets the championship belt around his waist. Classy display by GSP bowing to Serra, shaking his hand and hugging him before he leaves the ring. KFlo mentioned it during the fight, but GSP may be the best wrestler in the sport right now. He doesn't have the fanciest pedigree, but he dominated a 4 time all American in Koscheck, a former champion known for his wrestling ability in Hughes, and now a BJJ black belt in Serra.

GSP in his postfight gives the crowd a speech in French, and then gives Serra some more props. More class from GSP telling the Bell Centre crowd that he and Serra may go out and have a drink tonight, but if they see him out and about to give him respect. Serra interviewed now and his eyes look wicked. He looks like he got popped across the eyes with a ball bat. Serra gives GSP props, says he's going to take his wife on vacation and appears to have turned the crowd who give him a nice round of applause. Dana White consoles Serra with some words of wisdom like "You're a f*cking tough SOB to take such a nasty f*cking beating".

Good job on commentary by KFlo in relief of Joe Rogan, and generally a good card all around. Really the only half assed performance was turned in by Kalib Starnes, and it wasn't the fault of his opponent Nate Quarry...

It was my first time watching UFC, and I gotta say, it was kinda hype. GSP is a beast, I think he is my new favorite fighter. Keep up the great work.
