Not really sure what possessed me to do this post. I think that maybe it was the fact that I was talking to my wrestling guy over at Epic Carnival about WrestleMania and Floyd Mayweather and I got to wondering what would happen if "Money" got hurt during one of the skits. Anyway, I did some looking around and came up with some really nasty stuff from various pro wrestling outfits. Warning: some of these are realllly hard to watch... Enjoy!

Just goes to show you that no matter how staged something is, there can be nasty consequences. Good luck, Floyd!
And I know there were plenty of ECW, XPW, backyard wrestling and the like I could have shown, but I tried my best to stay away from the gimmick matches and stick with more flukey injuries rather than staged acts of insanity, in case you were curious.

Great list...I know it probably belongs in the ECW "garbage match" category but the nastiest thing I've ever seen in a wrestling ring still has to be the infamous New Jack "Mass Transit Incident". I've seen every Atsushi Onita FMW type exploding time bomb barbed wire death match out there but the "Mass Transit Incident" still makes me cringe...
ouch!!! a nasty selection indeed-HOWEVER-you forgot buff bagwell breaking his neck, droz getting his neck broken by d-lo brown, owen hart blowing a piledriver on stone cold steve austin, eddie guerrero popping his elbow out, mick foley in hell in the cell, chris jericho breaking his leg against sabu, sabu getting his teeth knocked out by the sandman after he blew a legdrop, those are the ones i can think of off of the top of my head that all involved blown moves resulting in a nasty injury-yeh the new jack mass transit incident is definitly the absolute worst, my wife is a nurse and she gagged when she saw that!!

All good ones. Really the list could have been 20+. New Jack's MTA was considered but I wanted to limit the "hardcore" matches. If I had included it, it would have probably been tops on the list for the ewww-factor. Plus a few of those you mentioned I just couldn't track down the video.
