So yesterday we mentioned in passing that some idiot fan threw a bottle at a player in a soccer match. The goalkeeper for Athletic Bilbao, Armando Ribeiro, spent Saturday night in the hosptial after being hit in the face by the bottle. Now we have video of said incident.

I'm a huge soccer fan, but this is how most Americans are exposed to the game. I don't know who said it but,(butchered quote) "Americans aren't this passionate about any one sport because we have so many major sporting leagues that are team alligence is not this strong. You generally won't see rioting at a US sporting event," (minus of course the Pacer-Piston situation). Now this wasn't rioting, but most people know that this is just F'd-up.
