Juan Manuel Marquez v. Manny Pacquiao Round 5

JMM with a right hook that doesn't connect. Wild looping punch by Pacquiao misses. Manny Steward gives us the understatement of the year calling PacMan "a true fighter". Both guys look pretty solid, but Pacquiao appears to be the fresher and more active. Nice flurry by JMM punctuated by a solid right. I made mention of JMM getting overconfident in my writeup over at The Sweet Science but Pacquaio better not think that he's got this fight in the bag. Short left by Pacman slipped by JMM. Pacquaio using a jab more often than in the past. Marquez scores with a straight right hand. Nice exchange at the end with both men landing punches. I'll give this round to Marquez--he got the fight back to a tempo more favorable to him and landed the crisper shots. JMM 10-9, fight so far I've got at 48-46 Pacquaio
