Don't you just love it when blogs and bloggers get blamed for things that really the person doing the blaming caused themselves?
The DC Sports Bog reports that Jim Fassel is blaming bloggers for his not getting the Redskins job. The fact that he was just 58-53-1 in seven years as head coach of the Giants had nothing to do with it, of course (or his tight friendship with legendary prick Brian Billick).
In a radio interview today, Fassel said...
Because you've got bloggers, and they're saying, 'No, this isn't the right guy, and that ain't the right guy,' and you can't hold the lead, because you are going to take the hit. I mean, when you're the lead dog, you're going to take the hit. And I think the longer it went, the longer it went, the longer it went....
I'm sure that when it came right down to making the decision, 'Skins owner Daniel Snyder was most concerned with what the blogging world was thinking, because, you know, he's a moron. But we didn't say that...
