Can we just ban soccer and be done with it?

We found it somewhat amusing when idiots soccer fans were behaving like terrorists at games in Europe, South America and Asia. We never understood what possessed those people to be such maniacs, but hey, that was over there. But now it's happening here. In the U.S.A. Fuck that.

Houston police are investigating the shootings of two people outside Reliant Stadium.

More than 70,000 fans were on hand Wednesday to watch the U.S. and Mexico spar in a soccer match that ended with a 2-2 tie. The shootings happened after the game.

Can we please lose "the beautiful game" references now? At least until there isn't someone being stabbed, shot, or beaten once a month in relation to the game?
